The Cat Gap

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_gap

Kittens are interested in the cat gap. Archaeologists cannot find any cat fossils at all in America that are dated between 18.5 million and 25 million years ago. These archaeologists say it means that cats were extinct for a long time in America. Kittens are less convinced - have the archaeologists checked underneath the fossil beds properly, or checked their neighbours fossil sheds and garages?

Cat on a hot tin roof

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_On_A_Hot_Tin_Roof

Kittens are pleased that no cats are harmed in the staging of this play. In fact, there's not even a cat in it, unlike Cats, the musical which does exactly what you'd imagine it to...

Laser Pointer

kittens like batting at the dots that laser pointers make on the floor. They are, however, very careful not to shine pointers directly into their eyes.

Diana Vickers

Kittens vote for Diana in the X Factor - mostly because she sounds like a wet cat when she sings.
